Eligibility Criteria –
- Should possess a degree in B.Sc. Agriculture (Minimum 50% marks) with Horticulture as an elective subject or Experiential Learning Programme (ELP) in Horticulture / B.Sc. Horticulture from a recognized University or Institution.
- Should possess a degree in M.Sc. Horticulture from a recognized University or Institution.
- Should have passed Matriculation Examination with Punjabi as one of the compulsory or elective subjects, or any other equivalent examination in Punjabi language, which may be specified by the Punjab Government from time to time.
PPSC Age Limit (as on 01-01-2025) –
- Minimum Age Limit: 18 Years
- Maximum Age Limit: 37 Years
Age Relaxation:
- Up to 45 years for Punjab Government employees, employees of its Boards/Corporations/Commissions/Authorities, and all States/Central Government employees.
- Up to 42 years for Scheduled Castes and Backward Classes of Punjab.
- Ex-servicemen of Punjab Domicile may deduct the period of service in the Armed Forces from their actual age; if the resultant age does not exceed the maximum age limit for the vacancy by more than three years, they are considered within the age limit.
- Up to 42 years for widows, divorcees, and certain other categories of women.
- Up to 47 years for Persons with Disabilities of Punjab.
Application Fee –
- For Ex-Serviceman, Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), Persons with Disabilities (PWD) and Lineal Descendants of Ex-Serviceman (LDESM) of Punjab State only: Rs. 500/-
- Scheduled Castes / Scheduled Tribes and Backward Classes of Punjab State only: Rs. 750/-
- All other Categories: Rs. 1500/-
