Eligibility Criteria –

• General: Candidates must possess Full Time Regular Degree/Diploma/ITI as specified for each post from recognized University/Institute/Board with minimum 50-60% marks (45-55% for reserved categories) as per post requirements.

Post-specific:

• Assistant Engineer (OT)/Electrical: Full time regular BE/B.Tech in Electrical/Electronics Engg. with min 60% marks from AICTE approved or equivalent.
• Assistant Manager (IT): BE/B.Tech in Computer Science/IT or MCA with min 60% marks.
• Accounts Officer: CA/ICWA or M.Com with min 60% marks.
• Divisional Accountant: CA Inter or equivalent.
• Junior Engineer/Electrical: Full time 3-year Diploma in Electrical/Electronics Engg. with min 50% marks from AICTE/State Board.
• Junior/Civil: Full time 3-year Diploma in Civil Engg. with min 50% marks.
• Junior Communication Engineer: BE/B.Tech in Electronics/Telecommunication with min 50% marks.
• Law Officer Grade-II: LLB 5-year integrated or 3-year with min 55% marks + 3 years professional experience.
• Telephone Mechanic: Full time Diploma in Electronics & Communication Engg. with min 50% marks.
• Lower Division Clerk/Typist: Bachelor’s Degree with min 50% marks + 120 Hrs Computer Course.
• Lower Division Clerk (Accounts): Bachelor’s in Commerce with min 50% marks + Computer Course.
• Assistant Lineman: 10th grade or equivalent, ITI 
• Assistant Sub Station Attendant: 10th grade or equivalent, ITI 
• Electrician Grade-II: Regular ITI with Matriculation in any branch of Electrical discipline, with at least 60% marks. Diploma in Electrical Engineering with at least 50% marks.
• Punjabi language proficiency up to Matric standard required for all posts.

Salary/Stipend –

• Pay Scale as per 7th CPC/Pay Matrix Level, applicable as per PSTCL rules dated 07.07.2020 and Office Memo No. PSTCL/Regulations/2014/214 dated 04.06.2025.
• Assistant Engineer: Rs. 47600-3%
• Assistant Manager (IT): Rs. 47600-3%
• Accounts Officer: Rs. 47600-3%
• Divisional Accountant: Rs. 35400-3%
• Junior Engineer: Rs. 35400-3%
• Other posts: Rs. 35400-3% or Rs. 19900-3% as applicable. 
• Allowances as per company rules; probation period of 2 years; no minimum admissible gross emoluments during probation except Dearness Allowance.

 Age Limit –

• Minimum Age Limit: 18 Years
• Maximum Age limit: 37 Years
• Age relaxation: SC/ST: +5 years, BC: +3 years, Ex-Servicemen/PWD: As per Punjab Govt. rules.
• Age relaxation is applicable as per rules.

Application Fee –

• For SC, Person with Disability Category: 885+ Transaction charges
• For all other Candidates: 1416+ Transaction charges

Note:

GST Rate shall be applicable as per GOI norms issued from time to time.
Fee will be accepted by online mode only. No other mode for depositing fee is acceptable.
Submission of application shall be considered complete only if the application fee has been deposited and showing “PAID” in the online application form. Application without deposit of requisite fee shall be rejected.
The fee once paid shall neither be refunded under any circumstances nor the fee can be held in reserved for any other recruitment or selection.

Selection Process –

• Online Computer Based Test (CBT): Objective type multiple choice questions; merit list based on marks obtained in CBT.
• No interview for most posts; purely merit-based.
• Document verification for shortlisted candidates.
• Reservation and relaxation as per Punjab Govt. rules.
